Make informed choices on police

Before politicians decide to defund the police or require special training in certain areas, they should be required to spend a week riding along with a patrol unit. I would recommend a night shift, as this is when most “peaceful” protests fall apart or family disputes get going. As the saying goes, “walk a mile in my shoes.”
