Republican comments during the impeachment hearings have left me in disbelief. They make excuses to cover up for President Donald Trump’s actions. They criticize Democrats for not calling the Bidens or the whistleblower to testify.
The question is: Does the president’s behavior constitute abuse of power and obstruction of Congress? Trump has refused to allow Mick Mulvaney, Rick Perry, Rudy Giuliani or Mike Pompeo to testify. He has told them they don’t have to answer subpoenas. Can you imagine if you did that? You would have law enforcement at your door.
If those people truly did nothing wrong, why not testify? They were involved in the withholding of funds to Ukraine. Any parent would be suspicious if their kids acted this way. Use your common sense. Trump thinks he can tell his supporters anything and they will believe it.
