The Sun has provided a good response to some extreme GOP actions. Under COVID-19 conditions, we have learned that listening to science is important. Fortunately, many in the Republican Party still realize the importance of working with Democrats for the good of all, and together Congress has passed important legislation to help the nation through this crisis.
When we get back to business in a more normal way, we must not forget the lessons of COVID-19 when we face the challenge of climate change. Republican members of Congress must pass House Resolution 763, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, before the election or face the wrath of citizens facing further problems from climate change.
