America must reclaim honesty

Would someone tell me why the president, vice president and the Supreme Court justice nominee herself would all lie about her position concerning Roe v. Wade?

It makes no sense. President Donald Trump made it clear that he would not select any nominee who would not reverse the Supreme Court decision on abortion rights. And the nominee, though she failed to submit them to the Senate, has signed a number of documents that support overturning Roe.

If we cannot expect honesty in a confirmation hearing for a Supreme Court nomination, when can we expect honesty?

It is time that honesty itself becomes an issue to be brought before the American electorate.
