I am tired of all the name-calling that has been going on this campaign. At one of President Donald Trump’s recent rallies in Georgia, Sen. David Perdue made fun of Sen. Kamala Harris’ name during a speech, stuttering and adding extra letters to it. He should know her name well because they serve together on the Senate’s Budget Committee.
This shows the bigotry and disrespect of the GOP, including the president. Senators and members of the House earned the title they have, not “sleepy” Joe or “crazy” Nancy or “shifty” Schumer. Before Trump took office, when had you ever heard a president drop the f-bomb or call countries s---holes?
This type of leadership has got to change. This country needs someone who will tell the truth about the coronavirus, not spread lies, saying we are rounding the corner and this will be behind us like a bad dream. Look at the numbers; they’re spiraling out of control and Trump is going to states where the virus is overwhelming hospitals.
Trump is living in a dream world. Wake up: The virus is real.
