Shame on all of us for allowing the destruction of the United States’ worldwide reputation.
Shame on us for accepting amoral, corrupt, deceptive behavior from our elected officials.
Shame on us for rehiring those politicians when we vote.
Shame on us for insisting we are religious while supporting and encouraging behavior that is against all religious teachings.
Shame on us for allowing political entertainment to replace actual news reporting.
Shame on us for believing “alternative facts” rather than taking the time and energy to research real facts.
Shame on us for choosing ignorance and arrogance over knowledge and science.
Shame on us for permitting political parties to manipulate voting districts and impose unreasonable conditions for voting.
Shame on us for bowing down to what’s wrong instead of standing up for what’s right.
Shame on us for allowing the current political environment to tear friends and families apart.
Shame on us for letting our children see how weak and ineffective adults have become.
Shame on those of us who think this is the way it should be.
Shame on those of us who do not believe we will be called on to explain the past four years and the part we each played.
Shame on those of us who do not vote in this election.
What have we allowed ourselves to become?
