America must turn the page

I just read Eugene Robinson’s column published Thursday, “Forget the former president,” and could not agree more.

Everyone knows that a fire grows with oxygen. This particular fire is now only embers but the more oxygen it gets, the bigger the flames will become again. As Sen. Lindsay Graham so truthfully said (but apparently didn’t mean) on the day of the Capitol insurrection, “enough is enough.”

If everyone, including the media, would just stop reporting about anything the ex-president did or does, perhaps everyone could get over their obsession with this obscene, grossly inept, totally corrupt moron and turn to much more important issues.
