I wish to be counted among the many who support Assembly Bill 351, the Death with Dignity legislation.
If faced with a long and painful path to a known result, I would be comforted by the knowledge that relief could be found on my schedule. This would be an intensely personal choice made between my medical team and me. It would not be taken lightly.
Every person in such circumstances should have the ability to choose the way they die.
I urge all readers to ask their legislators to vote in favor of this measure and make Nevada part of the forward-looking group of states that have already done so.
