The May 11 editorial, “Destigmatizing UFO research can bring needed clarity to Americans,” was excellent.
Those who continue to laugh at the idea should realize that if China or Russia has technology that the military here can’t even explain, then the United States and the West in general are in serious trouble.
Most physicists and astronomers refuse to accept the possibility that they could be from other star systems because such travel would violate the laws of physics as they know them. If it turns out that these objects are from other worlds, then these scientists will have to re-evaluate their assumptions and realize that there is still knowledge that they have yet to learn.
