In Ukraine, we are seeing what at first seemed impossible: Russian tanks disabled; some of their own military avoiding killing the innocent; supply lines breaking down.
Vladimir Putin is unavailable, hiding underground like the cowardly rat he is.
Perhaps the voice of humanitarian decency is not dead. Maybe for once, the civilized world will have the courage to say, “You will not murder any more of God’s children, not on my watch.”
