Third party already exists

The Aug. 6 letter “Americans need a third choice” is just the latest in a long line of people calling for a “middle of the road” party, then sharing a laundry list of policies being pushed by Democrats.

Middle-of-the-road means having polices that fall into both major parties, or into neither of them. Since 1971, a party like that has existed: the Libertarian Party.

Maybe if readers took the time to explore the policy positions of others, they might find what they are looking for, a party that is fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
