In recent weeks, we’ve read the reports of water shortages and drought conditions, yet we see flood reports nationwide. What gives? Well, both conditions can be true and co-exist.
Since the beginning of time, Mother Nature has provided the same level of water to the planet every year. The problem is where and how much. What we, as humans in charge of our fate and future, have to do is collect, store and transport the water where and when it’s needed from the locations that have it to the locations that need it.
Call it what you like and/or what you have a vested interest in calling it, but it amounts to plain good-old fashioned common sense and human ingenuity. Let’s just do it; it’s not rocket science.
