I would like to know how some Republicans got into office.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia does not know the difference between soup and soldiers, calling Hitler’s German goon squad the gazpacho instead of the Gestapo. Maybe she should look at history books instead of cookbooks.
Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado is another gem, comparing herself to God and saying that God makes her do things she does. There is no obligation to have a high school diploma and Boebert has said that she got her GED in 2020, months before being elected to Congress.
Rep. Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina is in denial that he was part of the Jan. 6 insurrection, but there is all kinds of proof that he was involved. Now, voters want to keep him off the ballot. He is using Trumpian tactics by suing everyone on the election board, just saying it’s not constitutional to keep him off the ballot. But he is not offering any proof that he was not involved in the Jan.6 riot.
There is a movement by some states to keep Trump, the biggest wild card of them all, out of certain swing states. That would all but eliminate him from running. These people in their respective offices acting the way they do should be a wakeup call to all of us on who we elect to these positions. Think when we go to the polls and vote.
