I was upset, appalled and angry at hearing testimony about the pressure former President Donald Trump and his supporters put on both fellow Republicans and election workers in the wake of the 2020 election.
Shaye Moss’ testimony brought me to tears and angered me in a way I have never felt. It’s just more proof of the thuggery and deception used by a spoiled, childish man desperate to hold onto power.
So, it was distressing to read about the savage and abusive way that Joe Gloria, our registrar of voters, was treated as he certified the recent Clark County election results. I was discouraged to find out that some of those thugs are here in Clark County, and don’t hesitate to unleash obscene, offensive behavior in the name of their candidate, Trump lover Joey Gilbert, on Gloria, who is just doing his job.
I want Gloria to know that there are a lot of people in Clark County who support him and admire his bravery in the wake of the 2020 election and this year’s primary election. He is a great example to those of us who can’t wait for Trump’s influence and malice to disappear from our political discourse.
