Voters can curb gun violence

Just look at GOP political ads on TV — there is the sheriff and mayor of North Las Vegas, both running for governor, promoting their use of guns.

In last week’s mass killing in Uvalde, Texas, those 19 children and two teachers never stood a chance.

Think about the parents of those young children who are going through the agony of losing a child and having to arrange a funeral, when the child should be out running and playing, not lying in a coffin.

All the prayers in the world will not solve this issue of gun violence; the only thing that will work is your vote in the upcoming election.

Vote for candidates who will do some good. I don’t care if you’re a Democrat or Republican, President Joe Biden is begging to get some action on gun control. Let’s back him and not put road blocks in his way.
