Within a few years, Taiwan will cease to exist as a country. It will just be a possession of China.
Just like Russia, China is an aggressive bully nation. It does whatever it wants because the rest of the world is afraid to anger its leaders.
Ukraine has held out for months against Russia with financial and military aid from the world, but eventually Russia will likely take it over.
When China attacks Taiwan, it will be the same situation. The world will unite in condemning the attack, and offer, but it will be for nothing.
Diplomatic solutions do not work when dealing with nations that don’t care what other countries think of them. President Joe Biden is being criticized for saying America will stand up for Taiwan. But who is criticizing the Chinese leaders for saying they will not let Taiwan exist as a free country?
And the United Nations is almost as effective as the League of Nations at keeping the peace.
We are entering a new reality, when bullies and thugs are running wild, and no one has the guts to stop them. Wait until America’s own bully, Donald Trump, assumes the presidency again. Didn’t he talk once about buying Greenland? Why pay for something you can take for free? Under Trump, America can join the ranks of the invader nations.
