Neither party is doing a good job

I don’t know about the rest of your readers, but I’m getting tired of all the letters to the editor beating up the Republicans. Wake up, it’s both parties.

A brief review of what we have gotten from these clowns might be in order.

• Washington has put America almost $9 trillion in debt!

• Our borders are wide open! How much are we forced to pay for the Border Patrol and Customs?

• We’ve lost 4,000-plus troops in Iraq so far, with tens of thousands more wounded!

• What about the scandal at Walter Reed and other military hospitals?

• There are more than 2 million people in jail. That’s more than in Russia!

• The federal government alone lost 25 billion tax dollars in 2003! How many tax dollars have the cities, towns, county and states lost?

• There are more than 25 million bureaucrats and other government employees nationwide! We pay for their salaries, benefits, retirement, expenses and other perks and then they tell us what we can and cannot do!

• What about the military’s $20 plastic ice cube tray? The same kind anyone can get 3 for $1 at the dollar store.

Folks, this is just the tip of a very large iceberg and we are all going to get stuck sooner or later.

At best, the Republicans and Democrats are incompetent and wasteful. At worst, well, you figure it out!

The two traditional political parties are bringing us down. They are stale, have absolutely no vision, are clueless and couldn’t care less about the middle class.
