Nevada television station owners and managers: It might
be better for your hearts if you read no further. Your blood pressure could rise; strokes are possible. A University of Wisconsin study has just concluded that looked at presidential advertising in the early states. The most money was spent in Iowa — $43 million. The least TV ad spending was — you guessed it — right here in Nevada — a measly $2.5 million. The next closest state was Michigan, where $4 million was spent. Oh what might have been, my dear TV station owners and managers. But wait. Maybe there is a silver lining here — perhaps the thing to do is look to the next cycle. If we really get established ... they might spend $3 million here next time.
