Regarding Art Rader’s Monday letter, headlined “Liberal think tanks? Think again”:
About the liberal vs. conservative think tank controversy: It should have been obvious to both columnist Jon Ralston and Art Rader that there have always been hundreds of places where people think about liberal ideas. They are called universities.
On the other hand, it should also be obvious from the current state of our country that the people who have dominated the government and public dialogue for several years now — so-called conservatives — do their thinking in places that are very aptly named “tanks.”
