Save the date, folks: April 26. And get your ticket now from Southwest. After all, you can’t miss the Governor’s Boots and Rhinestones Ball. It’s at the Peppermill in Reno, and guess what? You can sit with Nevada’s own Rhinestone Cowboy! That’s right: Seats are available at the governor’s table, depending on how much you are willing to pay, I am sure. All you have to be willing to do is participate in a fundraiser for the state Republican Party. I am thinking of putting in a request to go, to obtain that elusive interview with Jim Gibbons. I wonder if the boss will pay for me to get a seat next to him. Really — it would be worth it. And I bet the governor would have a lot of things to say to me.
