Democrats can’t be blamed for 2000-06

In trying to deflect blame from President Bush, John C. Lovelace’s Wednesday letter to the editor doesn’t mention that Bush enjoyed six years of a Republican majority in Congress. It seems almost providential that, on the page following Mr. Lovelace’s letter, there is a commentary by Dan K. Thomasson that points out some of the many deficiencies in Bush’s leadership.
