Good teachers deserve appreciation

Our daughter graduated from high school Tuesday evening as part of the first class to spend all four years at Canyon Springs High School and Leadership and Law Preparatory Academy.

Clark County schools and teachers frequently get bad press, and there are certainly serious issues that need to be addressed, but the teachers my daughter had are the most dedicated and caring professionals I have ever seen anywhere.

The magnet program, in particular, is excellent. We thank the teachers, administrators and staff for their dedication and professionalism. Great job!
