Governor’s excuses don’t pass sniff test

It just keeps getting better! Our governor exchanged 850 text messages in one month.

He insists they are not love notes, but instead conversations about a dog, children, taxes and state government issues! I am concerned that our governor would ask a “friend” about state government issues. Isn’t that what advisers are paid to discuss?

Maybe it was his “friend” who advised him about not raising taxes and where budget cuts should be made. As Judge Judy says, “If it doesn’t make sense, it probably is not true.”

It doesn’t make sense to me. Am I alone in my thinking? I sure hope not.
