I think John McCain’s choice for vice president was brilliant strategy. I believe he will pick up a lot of Hillary Clinton’s people as well. My own wife was going to register independent because she thought both candidates for president were not strong enough to be a good president.
When the news broke Friday morning my wife called the Republican Party and put herself on the volunteer list.
Personally I believe Sarah Palin has the ingredients to be president if John McCain should have to step down for a health reason. Ronald Reagan was a governor as well as Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. So the Democrats will have a hard time using lack of executive experience as an excuse to devalue her credentials.
The PETA people will go bonkers because Sarah said her favorite dish is moose stew.
