Barack Obama made the biggest mistake of his political career when he did not ask Sen. Hillary Clinton to be his “dream team” running mate. This blunder resulted in huge masses of fickle voters who are caught up in an unprecedented frenzy over Wal-Mart Mom-of-the-Year Sarah Palin. Give me a break.
Just imagine that this pistol-packin’ mama could become president if 72-year-old John McCain’s health suddenly deteriorates because of his intermittent bouts with cancer.
Obama is losing his original momentum and I am ever so fearful of the outcome. I hope a clever strategy will develop before Election Day to get us out of this mess. Otherwise we will be obliged to grit our teeth and be faced with another four years of the Bush administration. God help us.
