I read Bonnie Erbe’s column last Saturday about white, married women being mostly Republicans, and the steam is still coming out of my ears. I have always been a Democrat, as are all the white, married women in my family.
I rallied for Barack Obama from the beginning because I thought this country has so many grave problems that we have a desperate need for real change. Hillary Clinton would not have given us that change.
As for John McCain, why not just let President Bush back into the White House for another term? Sarah Palin is nothing more than a smokescreen for McCain. She’s doing her job well!
All I can say to Ms. Erbe is that I am a white, married woman and I am definitely not wealthy — nor will I vote Republican! I guess I’m just “out of the box.” And, pit bulls always did give me the creeps, especially those wearing lipstick.
