FLASHPOINT:

Porter is for solar jobs?

Generic attacks are commonplace this time of year. So it was not surprising to see Americans United For Change and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee go into a froth about the House energy bill, seeing it as an opportunity to push the generic “Republicans in pocket of Big Oil” message. Too bad both GOP congressmen here didn’t vote against it — Dean Heller did but Jon “I am in trouble in my Democratic district” Porter did not. So Americans United For Change had to correct a release sent out attacking both men. And the DCCC attacked Heller for rejecting “a plan to create solar jobs.” So Porter supports solar jobs because he voted for the bill? Maybe he could use the DCCC release in his campaign.
