Regarding Rob Powers’ Dec. 14 letter to the editor in the Las Vegas Sun, headlined “What Sarah Palin’s success is telling us”:
Palin was forced to leave her governorship out of financial hardship (according to her book) caused by the high personal cost and time of defending repeated liberal-inspired ethics complaints. They were all thrown out as groundless, but the liberal media were quick to accuse her of each of these false offenses along with many others.
Liberals considered Palin a major threat from her first successful appearance in 2008 with the politically faltering John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, and it appears many have acted in unison (some through ignorance or pure ill intent) to destroy her politically.
To see the true Sarah Palin, read her book.
