Ah, these are heady days for Nevada Democrats. Sue Lowden and Bartergate. John Ensign and Jim Gibbons named to Time’s Least Influential People of 2010. So gleeful were Democrats that they put out a news release Friday headlined: “Nevada Hits The Trifecta Of National Embarrassments.” Yes, a lot to ridicule there on the GOP side. Now, that is. But question: If these three are national embarrassments, what will Democrats call them if all three still have elected titles come January? Better question: In the cases of Lowden and Gibbons, what will Democrats call the candidates who lose to them?
