The former half-governor of Alaska seems to gather many political points by asking, regarding hope and change: How’s that working out for you?
The entire Gulf Coast is in the midst of an oil spill that has catastrophic possibilities, thereby creating financial and ecologic crisis. So, if Sarah Palin’s battle cry is “Drill, baby, drill!” and the question is “How’s that working out for you?” then the answer would have to be it is not working out too well, Sarah, not too well at all.
This crisis emphasizes the urgency in the need for alternative energies that would increase safety. Lower the cost, and minimize the need for dependence on foreign oil in the future.
