Obama’s tenure already very successful

Former President George W. Bush started an assault on terrorism and handed the baton off to President Barack Obama, who has very successfully taken on the challenge of continuing the assault.

Bush was the architect of the “bank bailout” and Obama has put the pressure on “big banks” to ensure that every dollar is paid back with interest.

Obama, under the supervision of the Pentagon, has authorized a “surge” in Afghanistan that has the terrorists on the run.

Obama has signed into law the most comprehensive health reform bill since Medicare and hopefully will be able to sign into law a financial reform bill that will have significant impact on the way Wall Street does business in the future.

During Obama’s 15-month tenure our economy is showing signs of recovery, witnessed by the significant increase in the Dow Jones industrial average.

It would be difficult to name another president who has accomplished so much in such a relatively brief period of time.

All of this has been accomplished with the Republicans doing everything in their power to obstruct his agenda. Just think how much Obama, and more importantly our country, would benefit if the Republican Party would be somewhat supportive.
