Sometimes viewers ask the darndest things. Here’s what one perspicacious sort asked about a segment on “Face to Face” regarding an ad by firefighters claiming their superiority over private ambulance companies: “Has anyone associated with the firefighters disclosed that if the firefighters’ emergency service transports an injured person to the hospital, that person will be a billed for $600 to $800 for the service? Isn’t the fire department supported by taxpayers? So isn’t the FD being paid TWICE for the service? At least the private ambulance service only gets paid once.” Hmmm ...
