It was so refreshing to read the comments from Rich Romain of Toronto in his Wednesday letter to the editor, headlined “Andy Rooney’s remarks on Vegas were insensitive.”
Romain truly appreciates what Las Vegas has to offer and enjoys his time here, whether he is gambling, taking in the shows, dining in our fine restaurants or just enjoying the atmosphere. It shows that our city has a lot to offer the world’s tourists — notwithstanding the negative comments Rooney made about our city.
Romain’s opinions are to be taken seriously. He comes from a fabulous city and appears to have great knowledge of places.
