Regarding Hy Zuloff’s Sunday letter to the editor, headlined “It’s time for the wealthy to show their generosity”:
Instead of taxing people more who already pay taxes, why don’t we ask those people who don’t pay any tax — about half of the people — to pay something, too. They also enjoy the benefits of this great country.
Also, to fix the deficit, why doesn’t someone address the problem of a government payroll that is too high.
