Some advice for elected officials

A New Year’s resolution for our leaders:

Compromise is never a solution.

Compromise will only make us resentful.

Compromise will only give me an excuse to blame the other.

Instead, we will seek convergence.

We will strive to seek solutions for the good of the American people as a country and as an integral part of the global community.

We will act as public servants — the position we voluntarily sought.

We will seek to make America strong and prosperous by making individual Americans strong and prosperous.

We will not enrich ourselves and a few. Instead, we will seek to enrich every American to enrich America.

Congressmen, senators and those elected for office: Read this message whenever you make a decision that could affect millions, including yourself.
