America is an inheritance, a dream greater than any of us but dependent upon all of us. If the strongest of us do not care about the weakest of us — if the richest of us only care about their riches — our inheritance is endangered!
If the poorest of us lack hope, if our hopeless lack help, our inheritance is endangered. Caring about the dream that we the people have been entrusted with is the only thing that can save it.
