Regarding E.J. Dionne’s recent column about how opponents are now “moving” Obama to Europe. Romney said Obama “wants to turn America into a European-style entitlement society” and “takes his inspiration from the capitals of Europe” as opposed to “the cities and small towns of America.”
“I want you to remember when our White House reflected the best of who we are,” Romney declared, “not the worst of what Europe has become.”
Wow! This is good stuff. Where has Mr. Romney been all these years? Does he know that America has become a “suburb of England” and that the “Wall Street bankers” have taken a script right out of the Queen’s playbook? If the Bush White House reflected the best of who we are and Bush’s treasurer, Henry Paulson, bailed the banks out and then sold us out — what great inspiration for Mr. Romney.
