It’s shameful to hate Zimmerman

In regards to Richard Mundy’s July 19 letter to the editor, “Zimmerman will always be on trial”: There is more to the case than a 17-year-old being shot. Mundy thought the jury would find Zimmerman guilty. So what? The jury, who heard all the evidence, did not.

Trayvon Martin attacked Zimmerman. Zimmerman legally defended himself. Mundy and many others aren’t happy with the verdict. Sorry, but you can’t please everyone all the time. Mundy finishes his letter by taking relief in the fact that Zimmerman will live in fear for his life all of his remaining days on this planet. How anyone could be happy that a fellow human being will live in terror is beyond me.
