From the outset, it should be noted that no one in President Barack Obama’s administration deliberately lied about Benghazi. This is a myth. And anyone who tells us otherwise is lying. Trying to make a tragedy into a political scandal is disingenuous at best, as President Obama called Benghazi an “act of terror” shortly after the incident.
Of course, Republican conservatives have always wanted President Obama, our first black president, to fail because he is a progressive liberal. Conservative critics also see him on the ropes now, so they overreach and ruthlessly attack him for no reason.
Republicans also call our president a liar without offering a shred of credible evidence to support their outrageous political viewpoints. And we, the people, shouldn’t stand for it. It is a perfect storm of ignorance because some conservatives don’t even have a deep knowledge of the issues.
By the way, the president was reelected because he was better than the alternative, Willard Mitt Romney. Unfortunately, as long as Obama is president of the United States, there will be no end to the Obama haters.
