The Oct. 19 Heard Elsewhere editorial on concussions was very, very informative. There is good progress being made with rules to be better informed with exams and, of course, the way football is played, from the NFL right down to Pop Warner leagues.
That brings to mind the “team” consisting of John Boehner, Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCullough and all the others who put their heads together for one massive concussion, and the way they refused to negotiate on all issues and just wanted their way. The spoiled brats that they are should have been sent to their rooms without supper. Perhaps there may be light at the end of the tunnel with rules on how to play the game of politics.
