Does anyone in this country care how many innocent people we have killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, either intentionally or through collateral damage? What do we have to show for this carnage?
All those hawks in Congress who are so intent upon Syria dismantling its chemical weapons, how about going a step further and asking for a Middle East free from such weapons? This would include Israel and Egypt, or is it acceptable for them to possibly have chemical weapons because they our “friends”?
To be respected and have credibility throughout the world, the U.S. needs to apply the standards uniformly and not resort to singling out only certain nations.
