Trump’s failure would be best

In response to those who warn against wishing failure for President Donald Trump: I unequivocally hope Trump fails.

I hope his racist and xenophobic immigration agenda fails. I hope his economic policies that will gut the middle class, devastate the poor and increase the wealth of the rich fails. I hope his plan to eliminate the Affordable Care Act and replace it with nothing fails. I hope his example of being a bully, treating women like property and taking vengeance against anyone who slights him fails. I hope his ridiculous plan to build that wall fails. I hope his climate-change denying and trashing-of-the-planet agenda fails. I hope his desire to reconstitute the nuclear arms race fails.

Yes, Mr. Trump, for the sake of our nation and the world, I hope you fail.
