Trump’s lies are documented

I just finished the defensive letter to the editor headlined “Understanding Donald Trump” (the Sun, Oct. 21).

I will refer the writer to The New York Times “Trump Lies” editorial, a list of Trump’s untruths and distortions through July 27. The writer can probably get the latest update by contacting the Times.

To the writer, I’d say that we know Trump won. Your support of him and your being a member of the base was rather lame. I respect your right to choose and elect whomever you like. You are in error when you claim there is no proof of the lies.

All you had to do was watch or listen to the latest garden party with Mitch McConnell. The “feud” with Sen. Bob Corker is not a feud. It is a rebut to where we are today.

If this is making America great again, then we are in bigger trouble than what Donald J. Trump claims we were in before — when he claimed he could fix everything “from day one, believe me.”
