Trump, Pruitt are menaces

The Trump administration has taken the air from out of America’s lungs. Its recent attack on the Clean Power Plan will mean disaster for American education, jobs and environment. The EPA’s Scott Pruitt and President Donald Trump are setting a wild precedent for the wholesale destruction of our environment and will surely aggravate climate change around the world.

Pruitt’s repeal-and-replace method for the Clear Power Plan will result in a dirty plan that will expose millions more Americans to hazardous levels of carbon emissions, leading kids to miss more school and average Americans to miss more work. Nevertheless, Pruitt sticks his head in the sand; denying climate change, scientific consensus and consilience, and making a decision that would exacerbate natural disasters. This is a disservice to all of those who have suffered and are still suffering, following the devastation from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
