Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Laxalt should be ashamed of his new campaign ads. Since he and his billionaire donors seem to have nothing positive to talk about, his latest desperate move is falsely linking his opponent to Nevada’s untested rape kits. The ads are inaccurate and disgusting, and do a disservice to victims of sexual assault.
Whereas Laxalt has an embarrassing record when it comes to protecting women, his opponent, Steve Sisolak, won an award in 2006 for his positive work with the Rape Crisis Center.
