It is a shame that Dr. Seuss is not still around with his Lorax to convince people of the folly of the Trump administration’s environmental policies.
People who like to breathe clean air and drink clean water and have a healthy life could use Seuss’ help to turn back the relaxation of water and air standards. Seuss and the Lorax played a major role in the $8 billion cleanup of Lake Erie after it was severely polluted by farm and waste runoff.
In 2016, America voted for an administration that told us it planned to reduce Environmental Protection Agency regulations, allowing increased pollution. Now, these changes are taking effect and we are going to suffer the effects for some time to come.
