Recently, there have been ongoing debates about the public records requests processed at the various government levels.
A huge issue is how many exemptions there are at the state level. Cities and counties each have own their processes, but everything could be improved so as not to be such a daunting task for requesters.
The public records process should be easy. Public records accessibility is crucial to having accountability at all government levels.
