On Dec. 10, President Donald Trump tweeted that special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation had produced “No Smocking Gun.”
Yes, the president of the United States (the self-proclaimed “stable genius”) actually wrote “Smocking” (twice in the same tweet) rather than “Smoking.”
Of course, we must acknowledge that, if the final Mueller probe never produces a “smocking” gun, that would be fortunate for Trump.
After all, as the age-old saying goes, “Where there’s smock, there’s “ficre.”
