What in heaven’s name is happening to this country? Never in my 84 years have I seen the likes of what is going on. I have lived though four wars; good times and bad times; JFK , RFK and MLK assassinations; Nixon and Clinton; the Korean, Vietnam and Iraq wars; but I have never seen or experienced what is happening in this country at this time.
We have a president who has absolutely no political experience and thinks he is a dictator. We have representatives, both Republican and Democrat, that sit on their hands and do nothing. We have a populace that is as divided as any since the Civil War. President Donald Trump has made enemies of our allies and allies of our enemies.
Is there nothing that can be or will be done to bring us together? If not, then we are doomed.
