There are a lot of expenses associated with operating small businesses, but most of us don’t have a “cushion” to help deal with those costs. Sometimes, it’s like the expenses are never-ending.
When you’re a small business, every penny counts. That’s why I want the federal tax cuts created last year to be made permanent, and for new cuts to be enacted.
We have seen a difference in our paychecks since the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed. Additional tax relief on a federal level would be great, and we could use some relief on the state level too. I would put any extra tax savings back into my business, such as upgrading or replacing our equipment. After all, those are the things that keep us going.
The middle class are the people who support this country and who give the most. It’s time we got something back, and additional tax relief would be a great start.
